Last night was a great start to our Lego Club! Kids, moms, dads, librarians.....even a reporter from the Pharos-Tribune! Many thanks to the Carroll Co. Community Foundation for the grant that helped us get started. The building theme was Houses. We had twelve builders and twelve completely different houses! Here are some pictures: We would have built all night, but we had to wrap it up. It was fun to hear everyone describe their creations! We saved four to display so everyone can get an idea of what we do at Lego Club meetings. Here they are: An amazing tree house! A beautiful garden home for the dog and cat. A graveyard. The undertaker is having a pizza! This house has a little of everything! The next time you're in the library, peek inside the Director's office to see these awesome houses! Soon we'll have a display case just for the Lego Club!
We'll post a link to the Pharos-Tribune article when it is published. We're open to suggestions for themes and other ideas. It's YOUR club, Lego-maniacs, so let us know! The Club will meet the first Tuesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. Next meeting: Tuesday, April 1, 2014. We'll supply the Legos, you supply the imagination!
