Memorials
Donating a book to the library is a wonderful way to honor a friend or loved one who has passed away. Donors may contribute an amount they wish to spend ($25 is the minimum recommended). The library staff appreciates knowing something about the interests of the person being honored and will select a book that reflects those interests. Donors may also suggest titles. Donors interested in purchasing a book to present to the library should check the online catalog or contact the director to determine whether or not the library already has a copy.
The library will notify the family of the honoree that a book has been placed in his or her memory. A bookplate will be placed in the front of the volume stating the name of the friend or loved one, and the donor.
