Another great turnout for our third LEGO Club meeting! We thought maybe we wouldn't see as many builders because baseball has started, but we had even more! 23 children, 1 teen, and 13 adults came to the library to build and socialize. The theme was DINOSAURS, and this group knew just what to do! There were interesting and creative Dinosaur projects. It seems many new varieties have been discovered over the years. Here are the examples that will be displayed at the library until our next meeting: Flying dinosaur with Wizard. Dinosaur eating a guy. A very tall dinosaur with a sweet expression. Dinosaur eating spiders, snakes, and plants, with a side of frog and crab. Sister dinosaurs made by two human sisters! Here's a side view of the sistersaur, a great Stegosaurus! We're looking forward to our next meeting on June 3 at 6:30 p.m. School will be out so we might build all night! Look for special LEGO Club events during Summer Reading 2014!
