The Indiana Literacy Firefly Award, a project of the Indiana Center for the Book, is a way for parents, caregivers, and very young children to interact together with exceptional picture books. Each year, children ages 0-5 are encouraged to vote for one of five nominated titles. Due to the current health crisis, the voting is being done remotely. Parents and caregivers of children age 0-5 who live in Indiana are welcome to experience the five books through video or in person and then assist their child in voting for their favorite.
